Little Medical School – Future Pediatrician
Little Medical School – Future Pediatrician class takes a new twist on the traditional expectant sibling offerings. Using our successful role-playing techniques, students will assume the role of a pediatrician and learn how to hold the baby, do an exam just like a real doctor, change a diaper and keep the baby safe. Each Future Pediatrician will receive a disposable white coat, luxury plush baby, an exclusive mini Baby Box® for safe sleeping, activity sheets and a birth certificate.
This course was designed by a team of board-certified physicians and is led by a trained and background-checked instructor passionate about sharing their medical knowledge with our students. Watch your child beam with pride when he or she earns a diploma on graduation day!

COURSE CLASSES
A Baby is Born
Our medical students will understand what it is to be a Little Pediatrician and what do we expect when a baby is born.
Caring for Baby
Students will learn how to perform a newborn baby examination, practice putting on a diaper and learn about diaper rash and how to prevent it.
The 3 B’s…. Burps, Bottles and Baths!
We will discuss why a baby burps and practice ways to burp a baby, learn how to feed a baby and how to give a baby a sponge bath!
Emergencies and Vaccinations!
Students will be equipped with emergency skills like CPR and Heimlich maneuvers. The importance of vaccinations will also be discussed!
Preparing for a Sibling!
Students will learn how to keep a baby safe when they sleep, discuss what is a Finnish Baby Box and get to make their own, and how to soothe a baby to sleep.
Medical Fun and Pediatrician School Graduation
Students will learn about the path to become a Pediatrician, plan what their dream job will look like and graduate from Little Pediatrician School.

One trained LMS instructor per class and a “Doctor’s Bag” activity kit for each student to keep
*To ensure our instructors may provide personal attention to every student, we recommend 8-12 students per class. For larger groups, we will provide multiple instructors and separate the group into smaller classes. If you have a unique circumstance, please contact us to discuss our custom programs.
