What child doesn’t at some point want to be a vet? Little Veterinarian School helps that young passion come alive with a fun educational program using role play, activities and crafts to explore the world of veterinary medicine. In this six-hour instructor-led course, students will learn to assess the health of a pet dog, learn about animal nutrition, learn how to care for stitches and check for ticks, learn about the many veterinary professions there are and much, much more.

The Little Veterinarian School curriculum was designed by a team of board-certified physicians and is led by a trained and background-checked instructor passionate about sharing medical knowledge with aspiring young learners. Watch your child beam with pride when he or she earns a diploma on graduation day! A must for young animal lovers!

COURSE CLASSES

What Is In the Veterinarian’s Office?

Students learn how to measure and take assessments of their pet dog.

The ABCs of Dog Care

Students learn importance of proper nutrition and eating proper foods in keeping a dog healthy and growing properly.

Laceration

Students learn what to do when a dog gets hurt and how to care for stitches.

Sick of Ticks!

Students learn the importance of ticks and how to check their dogs for ticks. They will learn how to administer tick medicine.

Immunizations

Students will learn and discuss how antibodies recognize and kill germs that enter the body.

6

Medical Fun and Graduation!

Students design their own Vet clinic and obtain their Graduation diploma!

Duration:

6 hours of total instruction, your choice of:

  • Six 1-hour sessions
  • Three 2-hour sessions
  • One 6-hour session

Class Size:

8-12 students per class, recommended*

Age Range:

6-12 years (regular curriculum)

3-5 years (pre-reader curriculum)

What LMS Provides:

One trained LMS instructor per class and a “Doctor’s Bag” activity kit for each student to keep

*To ensure our instructors may provide personal attention to every student, we recommend 8-12 students per class. For larger groups, we will provide multiple instructors and separate the group into smaller classes. If you have a unique circumstance, please contact us to discuss our custom programs.
